FOR LEADERSHIP
Nurse-led health screening for leadership
Registered Nurse-led | Delivered at your workplace | Confidential individual results | Anonymised employer reporting
Better evidence means better decisions about your workforce
Health initiatives are often chosen before the underlying problem has been properly understood.
A business may introduce a stress workshop when the larger issue is workload. It may offer a fitness benefit to a team struggling with sleep and recovery. It may invest in a new platform when employees would rather speak privately to a clinician.
Praxis helps HR and leadership establish what is actually happening before deciding what to do about it.

What Praxis can help you understand

Praxis is experienced in dealing with the SME workforce, and can help you understand;
- Is pressure concentrated within one part of the workforce or more widespread?
- Are employees recovering properly outside work?
- Are physical health risks beginning to appear across the team?
- Is musculoskeletal discomfort affecting desk-based employees?
- Are people working through illness rather than taking appropriate time off?
- Do employees feel able to raise concerns?
- Are existing benefits addressing the issues employees value most?
- Which changes could make the greatest practical difference?
The report will not provide a perfect explanation for every business issue. It provides a more informed starting point than assumption alone.
Protect your people. Protect your business. Back every decision with qualified and independent evidence to build a stronger workforce.
Useful for your HR team
Praxis gives HR teams independent evidence that can support:
- annual wellbeing and benefits planning
- business cases for targeted investment
- conversations about workload and capacity
- health and absence strategy
- employee listening and engagement
- evaluation of existing initiatives
- leadership discussions about retention and resilience
- decisions about specialist partners or additional provision
The purpose is not to produce a long list of health activities. Recommendations are prioritised according to the findings and the realities of the organisation.
Some recommendations may involve external support. Others may be straightforward operational changes that carry little or no additional cost.
Useful for founders
In an SME, a small number of people may hold a significant amount of client knowledge, operational responsibility and commercial value.
Founders often recognise that a team is tired or stretched, but do not have enough objective information to know what response is appropriate.
Praxis gives leadership a structured view of the group without exposing any employee’s personal health information.
It can help founders make proportionate decisions rather than reacting to the loudest concern, purchasing a generic solution or waiting for a problem to become more disruptive.
A useful baseline, not a one-off campaign
Some organisations commission Praxis to investigate a particular concern. Others use the service as an annual health benefit and workforce baseline. Repeated screening can show whether health and workplace patterns are changing over time. It can also help assess whether previous action has made a measurable difference.
Properly confidential
Employees need to trust the service or the information gathered will be of limited value.
Individual appointments are confidential. Personal results and consultation notes are not shared with the employer.
The organisation receives only anonymised findings across a sufficiently sized group. Praxis does not identify individuals, report on specific conversations or provide small-group breakdowns where there is a risk of recognition.
Participation is voluntary.
Practical to arrange
Praxis manages:
- employee information and pre-screening instructions
- appointment scheduling support
- clinical equipment and consumables
- on-site setup
- private consultations
- personal health reports
- follow-up guidance
- anonymised employer reporting
- a leadership review of the findings
The business provides a suitable private room and an internal contact to help coordinate the day.
What happens after the report
Recommendations may include:
- reviewing a practical source of workload pressure
- making better use of an existing employee benefit
- targeted health education
- specialist provision where the findings support it
- occupational health input
- follow-up or annual screening
Not every recommendation requires a new programme or additional budget.
