Praxis Health provides preventative health screening through registered nurses, delivered to the highest professional and clinical standards.
Assessments offer a structured overview of health, identify potential concerns and provide practical guidance, while all personal health information remains confidential.
Clinical standards and confidentiality
Praxis Health provides preventative health screening delivered by registered nurses.
The service is governed by professional nursing standards, clinical confidentiality and UK data-protection requirements.
Professional practice
All clinical screening is delivered by nurses registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Nurses are required to work in accordance with the NMC Code, including the duties to prioritise people, practise effectively, preserve safety and promote professionalism and trust.
Scope of the service
Praxis assessments are designed to:
- provide a structured review of current health
- identify measurements or symptoms that may need attention
- explain relevant health risks
- provide proportionate health guidance
- advise when further clinical assessment is appropriate
Praxis does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or replace GP or specialist care.
Confidentiality
Personal health information is treated as confidential clinical data.
Individual results, consultation notes and questionnaire answers are not shared with the employer.
Where an employer report is provided, it contains anonymised and aggregated findings only.
Consent
Employees receive information about the assessment and how their data will be used before participating.
Consent is obtained before screening begins. Employees may decline the complete assessment or any individual element of it.
Participation is voluntary.
Clinical follow-up
Where a result requires monitoring or further assessment, the employee is given clear guidance.
This may include:
- repeating a measurement
- monitoring at home
- arranging a routine GP appointment
- requesting a more urgent clinical review
- contacting an appropriate support service
Where a nurse believes there is an immediate and serious risk, action is taken in accordance with professional duty-of-care and safeguarding responsibilities.
Data handling
Clinical data is:
- collected only where relevant to the assessment
- stored securely
- accessed only by authorised individuals
- separated from employer reporting
- retained and disposed of in accordance with the Praxis clinical-record policy
- handled in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018

Praxis Health and its delivering clinicians carry appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
