FOR EMPLOYEES
Your health, your privacy: what to expect from your Praxis screening
Registered Nurse-led | Delivered at your workplace | Confidential individual results | Anonymised employer reporting
Invested in well-being
When your employer books a Praxis health screening, they are investing in your well-being. But we want to be completely clear: our primary relationship is with you as an individual.
This page explains exactly how your data is handled, what stays entirely private, and what your employer will and will not see.

What to expect during your screening
What happens during your screening?
You will meet face-to-face with a registered clinical nurse in a completely private room at your workplace. Your assessment lasts between 25 and 50 minutes (depending on the service level chosen by your employer).
The nurse will check core health indicators such as your blood pressure, cholesterol, and lifestyle factors and talk through how you are feeling about your workload, energy, and sleep. It is a supportive, confidential conversation designed to give you clear guidance on your health.
What you see
Within 48 hours of your screening, you will receive a comprehensive, personal health report.
This belongs entirely to you. It includes all your clinical measurements, what they mean, and practical, everyday steps you can take to look after your physical and mental health.
If any of your results require further attention, our nurse will give you clear advice on how to follow up with your own GP.
What your employer never sees
Your employer will never have access to your personal medical data. We enforce a strict, bulletproof data boundary.
- No Individual Names: Your name is never attached to any clinical result or questionnaire answer.
- No Private Notes: The personal conversation you have with the nurse stays completely between the two of you.
- No Small Cohorts: If you belong to a very small team (under 10 people), your data is never broken down by department, ensuring it is impossible for anyone to guess who gave a specific answer.
Practical recommendations
Your employer receives a high-level, completely anonymised Workforce Report that looks at the company or department as a whole.
For example, the report might show that “50% of the desk-based team recorded blood pressure readings above the recommended baseline” or “a significant proportion of staff report difficulty switching off after work due to conflicting priorities.”
This allows your employer to make positive structural changes, such as adjusting a broken workflow, improving workstation setups, or introducing relevant health initiatives.
Participation is entirely voluntary
You are in complete control of your screening.
- You can choose not to take part in the screening programme at all.
- Even during your appointment, you can decline any specific test or skip any question you do not wish to answer.
- Our nurses will always respect your choices without judgment, and your decision to skip a test will never be reported to your employer.
